Scrolling of templates

Is it possible to press a hotkey with multiple structures or units attached to it and cycle through the different selections using the mouse wheel instead of having to press the same button multiple times to get to the desired template?

On a completely different topic, I've noticed that when doing a screen split using the home key, its not easy at all to get to the left and right edges of the map in the smaller windows. It makes it very difficult to target or see something on the fringes using this technique. Its useful for focusing on multiple fronts and ecoing at the same time. Is this a part of the game mechanic to not be able to see all of the map easily in split screen, or a minor inconvenience that can possibly be resolved?
