Long building lines

Apparently I need this...

A written reminder, a shaming flagellation of myself on a public forum, for it to somehow sink into my head ONCE AND FOR ALL that long building lines are a NO-GO.

NOT. EVER.

it has never not crashed when i slapped down a long line of templates or walls with an easy click and drag


so sometimes I lie to myself to get my way : "oh I'm sure it won't crash this time", "just do it a little bit, just a little", "we need this fast, it's so much easier this way", "pretty please do it"

And every time I do it, unfailingly, it always, ALWAYS crashes the game.

So why not make a goddamn change on myself for once, no more lines of buildings, you know it crashes FA 100% certain so don't!!!

Never crashes my fa, I often use lines of fake PD template to make 3 layer walls, and even more complex wall templates to partly fill space so transports can't drop there.
But I actually do not do big lines that often, unless I want to lag game and draw lines of walls pgens and facts through all map all over the place, and it still doesn't crash.

Edit: Maybe you need to make proper bug/crash report with logs replays and clear explanations

Never had a crash because of this, although regor VI wall-lands has been known to lag for a few sec if an observer presses shift ;D

I often have hundreds of walls + plenty of other buildings in queue and I get about 500ms freeze whenever i press shift :D
