Which Icon Looks Best

I'm making a new enhancement icon for an EMP effect. Which looks better for said purpose?

Please keep in mind that these will be reformatted to conform to the needs of FA so the final icons may be altered slightly.

Thanks in advance!

As far as look goes, either #1 or #2 (#3 is too cluttered and when compressed to icon size might end up blurry)

However none of them seem too "EMP-ish", they look like some weird nuke icon.

Probably something with a lightning bolt might be more intuitive at a glance.

The icons shouldn't be too complicated, they have to be clear with a single glance. Number 3 is, as the others said, not good for this.

Where do you plan to use it? Not really sure what you mean with "enhancement icon". Where is it going to be put?

Final incon size will be 64x64, where he above examples are 660x660 i think.

I will cut them all down to 64x64 then format them for FA use. After that I'll post them here for further review / discussion.

I've looked and looked for an offical example of an EMP icon but have yet to find anything. As for the samples i've provided looking like the nuke symbol, this is because the symbols for radiated and stimulated emissions are also is a variants of the nuke symbol. Im just tying to stay close to the current stylings for ease of recognition sake.

Not everyone is familiar with IRL warning signs (especially the rarer ones found only in particular places or that deal with less-than-familiar situations)

I'd suggest something more classical, inspired by other games icons so that they might be more recognizable to the general public.

Here some that i dug up on Google real quick.

The bolt is fine but the anti-cross doesn't fit. I may opt to do a combination of the bolt with something showing the area effect nature of EMP.
