Spread attack can now be used for move orders....
This is such a massive change to the mechanics and micro... (I will make videos about this in the near future)
I have an excuse for not knowing this, I maybe a dumbass, however
How are new players or more importantly players who are returning and have not played this game for a year suppose to know about this?
In the keybinding screen this command is still listed as spread attack. Why would anyone use it for move order?
I agree it is an obvious thing to try and I have tried it and I am sure many people have and of course we found out that it doesn't work.
Now it has been implemented... Which is awesome.
All I want people to take away from this is to tell people about this as much as you can, because just saying "shift +g" or spread attack is not going to convey to people that you can use it with move orders.
Furthermore explain to people that this is an effective way to prevent units from moving as a group. (MrAesthetic I am sure would have loved to know about this)
This feature allows to get units to move faster to their destination especially around rough terrain.
This feature allows a player to direct units through tight spaces such as choke points.
This features allows for huge micro advantages in t1 land battles.
Don't just tell people that you can do a spread move order but explain to them the implications.
