The CZAR (unit spotlight)

As most of you might be aware, Gyle and I are doing these unit spotlight series. Next pick is Gyle's and he chose the CZAR. All I know about the CZAR is that it can do crash dmg, refuel airplanes, and has a huge beam. Any of you know more to tell about this unit?

I think it has depth charges, and also you can attack ground targets in shallow water with the beam and the same beam is pretty good at killing air units (although its been nerfed a lot compared to what it used to do, however still not bad).

can use beam to kill air units (tho asf receive less dmg) also depth charges is indeed correct tho the dmg is fairly small, can build air units of course, has some splash AA and normal AA and also sonar+radar

Hmmm its air to air missiles do splash? I thought they were similar to air craft carrier/cruiser aa missiles, but I not checked the unit database... something lextoc should probably have done before making the post

pretty large vision radius, can't construct transports, flies very high and with its large radius makes it great for blocking nukes

I think the CZAR has the highest combined DPS of all its weapons of any unit in the game.

CZAR does not have AOE on the missiles but it has a flak cannon.

Just tried it, it's extremely difficult to aim at the soulripper with the beam (using ground fire) but the soulripper died, not sure if it's because of the beam or the other guns tho
