SCU Preset's

Can anyone point me to a link regarding the current base upgrades included in each of SCU/SACU presets?

Hey ghost

When you hover over the icons in the game, it already lists what upgrades are included.

Could be nice to create our own preset . I would like a preset with just fast builder upgrade and RAS.

I'm sure RAS preset will not appear before IceDreamer(or somebody elseworking on this) won't finish his mod that won't allow to get RAS and teleport with adjacency.

Any way, i remember i did suggest to make new interface for Quantum gates to be able to pick upgrades before building unit. Though i believe it's just very hard to make.

For the love of Brackman! Wouldn't be much easier (and sensible) to have the SCU start building their preset when out of the gate instead of coding exceptions everywhere? Wasn't SIMPLICITY (as in "easy to understand without straying from a defined set of rules") meant to be one of the good points of the game?

Just get rid of the adjacency and be done with the restrictions about what upgrades you can get straight from the gate.

Why not get rid of the adjacency bonus on just the Quantum Gateways? Then we could have every preset possible, and there is no worry of anything being OP. If you want a specific SCU, you get it right off the belt, and you pay the same price as if it was a stock SCU later upgraded. It would be nice to be able to choose a preset SCU with the exact combo of right/left/back presets that I want, and not just the 5 preset options we have because people worry about adjacency on Gateways. Seems reasonable

IIRC there is afunction buried in the keybinding options that allow to place "beacons", any SCU near those beacons will start upgrading with a user defined Engineering or Combat set.
Problem is that for the life of me i can't figure out a way to make it work (is vanilla mechanic), prob FAF broke it?

Anyway, if something like it can be implemented then it would solve all the problems with adjacency but not adjacency for this what about that this is lower this is higher here there is here is not and some kind of Marry Poppins sing-along

Of the Quantum gate, yes. If that's the reason why we have this half-half stuff.

As for no RAS straight from Quantum gate; RAS is peanuts compared to full combat sera SCU.
