New colors

Hi FAF players,

just occured to me yesterday it would be nice to have more colors in the game for the factions, just dont know how to do that. Anybody knows how its done? Or know someone who knows how its done?

For example such black would be nice, bad for some maps i imagine but for most played would be good and hey we have white which is terrible so whi not to have black? And i imagine this could be even more worked on to get even some kind of a unique colors. How about that?

Actually, black used to be a color that was selectable. However, afaik it was removed due to the problem of having a hard time recognizing the unit symbols on the black background.

I see, and yeah I feel how that kinda can be an issue, however is it possible to let units have black texture and the icons to have backround for better recognition of symbols.

And what i am trying to say, better than making fewer options it would be nice to have more options, even when you dont use them much. Black seraphim mhmmm would look badass.

As always I am a firm supporter of the colour black, and I would play with it 100% if it was re-introduced... I never had any issues seeing the symbols.

Its deadly impossible to find an ACU to snipe if the player is black...
I hope to never have the return of the black selection, unless the border and strategic marker inside the icons get a different colour when black is selected.

While we're on the topic... we have two incredibly similar oranges, would be nice if these were a bit further apart, probably the only colors right now that are easily mixed up. Maybe darken one while lightening the other a bit.
