No really, this is too awesome to not comment on - and just lightly mentioning it in Aelous seems far too insufficient in my books.
Epic new response time, blazing fast in every aspect - I've fallen in love with FAF again

Yes, and the website, lightning fast too now. The difference is instantly noticeable.

It's worse for me, I can't download rks explosions from the mod vault. The download window goes to 1%, or 10, perhaps even 18, but then it freezes, closes with no reason whatsoever and the download is cancelled completely.

That is a glitch with a single mod...... so 99.99% of everything runs better, but one mod doesn't work. Most likely, that is something with the mod itself, and not with the server.

Maybe they included this nice feature that prevents from getting the rks explosion mod and have it spreading more

As it turns out, we were hitting this issue: https://www.varnish-cache.org/trac/ticket/402.

The server would cut off clients that couldn't download 60MiB in 60s, a downlink speed of roughly 8Mb/s.

I've increased the timeout to 600s, which should cover most internet uplinks capable of playing FA online anyway.
