Sometimes we spend day after day on FAF. We don't know these other people whom we meet regularly, or whom we play against, train with, sometimes talk about our days with. Who are they? What do you have in common? A video game? Come on. Is this really all it is? One day, the FAF server will be empty. There will be no one there. What will it be like when that day comes? At the moment there are at least 200 people online at any given time. One day, the community will dwindle. The thought of that makes me sad. But when stuff in real life has been happening, I have not felt the need to visit FAF for weeks, even months. It makes me sad that something I spend so much time on could be so easily set aside in favour of other activities. But I know, when stuff starts happening in RL again, I will not have time to dedicate to FAF and that makes me feel guilty. For it is we, the individuals, who make FAF what it is. We need regulars to keep the community going, so what happens when those regulars have stuff happen in RL? FAF is immediately put on the back of the priority list, what can we do to combat this?
