Replays

Postby benikens » 15 Nov 2014, 03:05

Hey so I'm confused how to make replays work. I try and open some of my replay files but no matter which file I open the same replay always starts, its one I downloaded awhile ago and now its the only replay I can watch. I just want to check over some of my games. I downloaded a game from the vault aswell as opened some of my local ones and this other replay is always the one that starts playing.

Open them by double clicking them in Explorer at C:\ProgramData\FAForever\replays (ProgramData is a hidden folder). Or open them from the FAF replay vault by double clicking them at Local Archive (that gets the file from your PC) or Online Vault (gets the file from the server).

I've done exactly that, doesn't matter which replay I click to open it always shows me the same Seton's match. Replay vault or local file doesn't seem to care.

So to update in case others have this issue and are looking for an answer, so far I've uninstalled faforever and re-installed it then tried opening a replay and it is still causing the issue. The weirdest part is I even deleted the replay that keeps opening. Next step I'm going to uninstalled sup com and forged alliance altogether and faforever then re-install the lot. I will delete every single local replay then re-download the one I'm trying to watch. I will post again if this is successful or if I have to continue debugging.

Options -> clear -> cache

or

delete all in c:\programdata\faforever\cache

or

post \programdata\faforever\logs\forever.log
