"too spamy for a new user"

Postby Zoram » 07 Nov 2014, 00:18

Hey, quick question :

I get the importance of spam protection, but how one is supposed to post, when about everything is deemed "too spamy" ?
not talking about f word and profanities, apparently "non english words" are a problem ?

any clue on how to understand how to write a "approved" post ?

If you write good long post, and wait some time you will have no problems ;)

I suppose so, but as it is, the systems seems to have problems with the weirdest things. E.g on the topic about the [Aeon Gunship unit whose name I cannot say because it is too spamy], it seemed to have a problem with [a synonym for shop ] which apparently was not an english word (??).

I supposed that the problem was the unit name then, so I deleted the subject line from my reply, and aborted another attempt at a second post because it just got too damn difficult to post anything :p (it seems to me that the problem can also be a word in the quoted part, making it quite tough to reply to people with context) :p

Edit, it just did it again (edits above in brackets)
"Your post looks too spamy for a new user, please remove bad words or non-english text. ([synonym for shop])"

The problem is that there is no documentation in the forum about the spambot protection.
According to Zep, you should be able to post links and spamy looking words after 10 posts in the forum.
