Scaling UI for 4K monitors?

Hi,

Perhaps I am dense but would someone clarify how I would go about scaling up the whole UI for 4K resolutions?

The build icons and hover stats are so small that they are impossible to read.

Can it be done?

I would appreciate any help :)

It can certainly be done, but I don't have the first clue how :p

Start by opening all the assests in photoshop and simply enlarging them?

gaz_ui (integrated) has an option to use bigger icons in the build interface, you can enable it somewhere (probably ingame in the interface options)

there is also a strategic icon mod here in the forums that provides customized icons in higher resolution which are better for high res monitors, check viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2740

then, it should be possible to make a UI mod that enlarges most of the windows (eco panel, score, reclaim window, tooltips) by destructively hooking (overriding) the files in \lua\ui\game\ and manually editing position and size of the windows and texts in them
but this mod would conflict with a bunch of UI mods such as lazyshare
