In 2012 GPGNet Forum after being the heart of SCFA activity for 5 years ran out of steam I was dreading the end of my FA experience a game I loved and the proud succesor of Total Annihilation. Then you came with FAF, it was so much better than anything before it ! 3 years of continuing improvements, stability in the community and a real vision for the game.

A million thanks to you for that Ze_Pilot, I'm sad you are leaving but on the other hand you have deserved a well earned rest.

One of the "silent majority" here, who was unaware of any controversy until he tried to log in and found that the server had been taken down.

I am eternally grateful for FaForever, Ze_Pilot. I am even more grateful that you reversed your decision to shut it down, saving most of the community. I understand that you faced some flak over the years, but we all thank you for finding a way to gracefully back out. Know that this community exists because of you, and I and others hope to continue to see great things from FAF.
