I just hit upon it on youtube. It was uploaded 8 months ago and i think its perfec time for community podcast #2.

Ofc it wont happen without someone who will produce it but fortunately since summer is over, peopel start to get back to FAF and Sheppard been spotted couple of weeks ago Since he done previous video, how about making another one? Well and im sure many peopel will help too, we just need a mastermind.


Now my ideas what would be cool and interesting to see in #2:

- first of all, recent balance changes, bug fixes and t3 mobile aa introduction. ask modders about their work, what they've done and what they think about it, what they are working on atm etc.
- second, ask some of the top players what is their opinion on current balance
- then move to current events like this tourney BH is planning, imo perfect time to reveal whats he's been up to
- make some special casts where you cast a game together with a player who played it, discuss it, ask him some questions etc.
- i know Gyle been extremely busy but maybe he could find some time too to make an appearance and say some words to his fans (and cast some games, obviously)
- also i could make some educational video(s) together with someone who will record and upload it (my pc is too shit for that)


Im sure peopel have more ideas. Post, discuss, etc. Just make it happen and dont let this great idea die. Time to hype the community up.

For a new Podcast i would keep the format like:

Start with a topic that many people might intresst even some that are not so involved in FAF Community:

1.
Planetary Anhilation/Why do people still play SupCom

- there seems to be a niche for a SupCom like game but why isnt it taken:
- what is expected of a new RTS, why SC, why not Sins of Solar/StarCraft/PA/ZeroK and what sucks (abilities, graphics, level [sea,land,orbital,air]
i'd have a lot stuff in my head here
- what are the flaws of SupCom (land/air interaction, air in general, energy mechanincs beeing meh)
- get a PA guy, preferably ZaphodX and one who shares my/for example Voodoos opinion about the game

2.
Do a cast of 2 or more people that fit each other (Gyle and Napalm were great last time, since we probably wont get them we have to think about alternatives,
thinking of the old Funcasts, LuXun and Koecher would be kinda cool but maybe aswell LuXun and Brnk that would be my idea.


3.
go for the patch things, specificly the T3 anti air and Blackhearts tourney

4.
a map preview for an unknown map? maybe the cast on this map?

I suggest trying out a google hangouts setup.

With webcams / screencasts / blank screens for each participant. Works very nice IMO.

I'm happy to participate anytime. I'm low-rated by I can provide smooth jazz and dulcet tones. Also, tommy wiseau sound bites.

Ok - then we should name a day and time. maybe a regular day of the week / month and time - and that way whoever is available can join in.

As I'm australian I shouldn't get a vote on the time because we are the opposite hours to basically every other country

Current idea's is every tuesday since thats best for me and weekends are not reliable for me
