Deleting "F8" markers

Postby Corwin » 12 Sep 2014, 22:56

I someday heard for "US version" a shortcut to delete F8 markers" exist.
I tried and that was not working for me.
For now, i just use "shift" and move it to a corner or "out" of the map, but... maybe it could be great to have a radical solution for deleting them ?

On long game, there is so much markers sometimes, that it shows the "you must delete another maker first" and you are not able to make another marker.

Hope it may be improved and that topic may help.

This needs to be a sticky, it gets so annoying when people just move them off map.

Agreed. I'm always asking people to delete their marks but they either don't know how or are too lazy

Just in case, that command can be used to remove any command in a queue. Say you place down the command to build 3 land factories. Use that key press combo to remove any or all of the build queue from the engineer. Very handy for accidental issued commands (issued a reclaim, but wanted a move command; removing a move command from a sequence of move commands; removing a patrol point, etc.).

So next time you place down the wrong command, remember this handy keyboard command.

I did not know that it could be used for that too. Thanks.
