Changes FAF vs FA?

Postby Ambervikings91 » 22 Aug 2014, 00:29

I noticed when building the mavor my T3 engineer was using 90 mass but as I recall on just FA it is 45 mass, also I don't think the T3 transport gets vet anymore, am I wrong or are these changes that happened on FAF? If so how can they be changed back?

Build power changes are part of engy mod, t3 engy got buffed, now it has more build power (15->30 for uef/cyb, 15->40 for aeon/sera), as well as t2 engy (10->12.5 for all factions)

veteranicy system was changed very long time ago, but still in FAF ofc, instead of kills we use experience poits, you get 1 point for t1 unit, 3 points for t2 unit, 8 points for t3 unit, do not remember about ACU and exp units

there are TON of different changes they all now in FAF wiki http://www.faforever.com/mediawiki/inde ... hange_Logs

edit: also those changes does NOT include enother ton of changes made by 3604 patchmod of gpg net (i beleave faf balance was based on those patchmods, but i can be wrong)

The buildrate of T3 engy was indeed buffed i think, the vet of the Continental was never changed (95% sure about that).
I would ask you the retorical question "why change it back" but instead of that i just say: You don't. :)
