BETA Satellite Base Behavior

OK so PilOt has decided to try integrating the whole "Satellite dies to Nuke" thing. I wrote that code as a proof of concept without much thought as to what happens to the base station if/when the Satellite dies, so now I need to get some input on which direction to go for polishing it. There are three realistic options, all of which I would consider balanced.

1: Keep everything as-is. The death of the Satellite to a Nuke will not kill the Novax station. The player simply has to ctrl-k, reclaim the Mass, and rebuild, or even just rebuilt on the wreck if time is a factor and not mass.

2: The base station auto-destructs. This would save the player the trouble of ctrl-k-ing the structure manually, but is not otherwise much different from option 1.

3: The base station begins to build a new satellite, at a cost of Novax-reclaim value of base station, with energy costs also reduced proportionately, and with the buildpower of a single T3 Engineer. It can be assisted. This will be much harder to code, but can be done.

I would go for option 3. It's the easiest for the player and I never understood why the Novax can't build a new satellite if the old one dies.

I also opt for 3. However, the building of the sat should not start just like that. Rather, there should be a little icon in the interface you have to press to initate the building process (like with nukes in battleships). Otherwise your eco could turn into a mess if you don't pay attention.

(Wouldn't an auto destruct of the station damage buildings/units near by?)

On another note: is it possible to have a poll in a thread? With bars indicating the distribution of answers? That would make life so much easier :)

Novax is sometimes placed over nuke launchers. nukes that hit it explode. It can kind of hard-counter a yolona oss

Why not make the novax sat cost the same as reloading a nuke defense? Since a nuke is the only thing that can kill it, it is effectively an antinuke when used in that manner, and it can only deny the t4 nuke once as the time taken to #1 rebuild the sat and #2 fly all the way across the map would let the novax launch at least two shots on a 20k map even if the novax build was assisted (or lock the build time and don't allow assist?).

If the build time was say 3 minutes (+2 minutes travel time) you could continually block a nuke at the same cost as a nuke defense, although that would be stupid to do since the initial investment is HUGE.

If it was done this way, it would turn the nuke blocking ability into something you can use in a pinch if your anti goes down or you don't have two loaded for t4 nuke, but it is COMPLETELY cost ineffective to actually use as an antinuke.

What minute? Can we see a hit? Does it deal ground damage? When you hit a plane, it does. (or did anyway)
