Broken Strat in Ladder?

I just played on that game where you start in the water and my opponent was UEF and makes a drone but I make a air factory and get an interceptor out and kill it but his com followed mine and reclaims my air factory and then I have to draw because he can keep making drones while moving so my interceptor is gonna run out of fuel eventually.

This seems to guarantee a draw or win for UEF if used. s there something I am missing?

It would be an easy fix. Just don't allow the drone upgrade to happen when the com is walking.

Yeah that map is a horrible broken lottery and shouldn't be in the pool.

FWIW you can go first navy and spam engies until it's reclaimed (reclaim the other guy's fac and deny his engies if you can). If he makes drone first with uef you can go static AA (can be reclaimed) then navy fac without crashing I think. I just alt-f4 if the initial minute goes against me, it's not worth playing.

I mean it has a very strict meta behind it, uef doens't guarantee win, they have another option but all you need is to build aa turret when they make the drone then start a factory, aa turret is built faster than drone upgrade

How does the turret help? They can just walk away from it and build a new drone

It costs a lot of resources to rebuild the drone, and you can build a naval factory to produce many engieneers which he can only remove by reclaiming with acu. This means he would have to go out of range, wait for the new drone to finish, then come back - more than enough time for your acu and some engies to escape.

drone is OP cause aa pd misses on it

(also my acu bugged out when i was capturing enemy land fac and it could not kill engy i was sad)

also drone is double OP cause you probably can pause acu from remaking drone and remake it later

whole metagame on HardFFA is about escaping with engy, and drone does that perfectly
you need to kill drone 2 or 3 times to have chance to win, and may still loose cause enemy acu will just follow you and prevent you from buiding, and if you somehow manage to make your engy escape, drone can find it and reclaim
