Battleship !

From watching a few replays of seton's game, it seems that late game sea battle are dominated by the UEF battleship.

Do you guys think that something should be done like increasing each faction's battleship's strengh.

That's only when UEF doesnt' get completely whiped during T2... which is what I see more often than UEF battleships dominating.

I've seen the latter once more recently. Someone that micro'd the heck out of his battleships; ground attacking every T3 subhunter I had.

Out of curiosity, how does UEF counter Sera T3 subs? Mix coopers with battleships/battlecruisers?

Even without shields coopers will kill t3 subs in a mass-effective way right? Of course shields are better (and also to protect against surface fire, which cooper is obviously bad at taking).

Thanks for response. Let's be a little more specific then and say how does UEF counter sera t3 subs with some battleships, destroyers, cruisers mixed in.

its all about numbers and how each player micros his navy. but well as uef battleships counter sera battleships and shield boats are never wrong,just make as many battleships than he is doing and build like 1 cooper for every sub he has

Helps, sure. But in an even battle you want your awesome UEF battleships fire on the enemy battleships and not on subs. Coopers are a better longterm option (also less micro-intensive).
