Co-op Missions doesn't allow you to place walls?

Co-op Missions doesn't allow you to place walls?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting. I wasn't sure if this was a bug or feature or whatever, and since there doesn't seem to be a forum index for "Co-op Missions" I guess General it goes.

As the title states, Co-op doesn't allow you to place walls. Why?
