It'd be easier to start giving away FA to these select few for free.

It's FA Forever, after all. Vanilla support... oy. I'd have to duplicate quite a bit of code in the lobby for that, and I'm not doing this for 1 or 2 matches of Vanilla per day or week.

If someone wants to contribute vanilla support, we can discuss it.
I waited ten years for Supreme Commander (1997-2007)
and have not a single day felt disappointed with it!

The question is not "are you going to support vanilla ?" but "Why do you want to play with it ?".

If it's for the balance, a simple mod can do that. You can also remove the seraphim and all FA units.

If it's because you don't own FA, it's very cheap at the moment.

If it's for any other reason, I would love to know :)

It's $6 on amazon but I'm sure other places have it cheaper.

Time for a vanilla mod I guess?

Although I would learn FA if I ever wanted to play SupCom again, I must admit I found vanilla a more relaxing and enjoyable game. Not having to worry about map control as much means less multitasking. You can focus on one or two bases, tech up, and assassinate people with T3 Bots. I was never very good at FA.

You can start checking if the protocols are the same. Good luck !

Let me make the things clear.
This is Forged Alliance Forever, and it has nothing to do with vanilla supcom.

We will not spend our time on it unless there will be a very very special case.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat with experience.
