Today I was banned from FAF "Forever"

It was fun playing. The last game I was in today I actually got accused of being a smurf which is interesting because I've been called just about everything and in my 100 some games experienced a lot. Evidently treating the community the way in which I was treated i.e. team killing is uh bannable. Even though its been done to me 3 times in those 100 games I guess if you do it twice ur gone.

Which is all fine and dandy. Was fun playing with ya all. Hope you enjoy the 5v5 Gap map Pitch Black Gap that I made for ya all per ur request. I'm sure it will be playable for many months/years.

I've said my piece about the community on more than one occasion and well to be honest. I'm neither surprised nor sad to be departing. I do want to thank Jokr and Pimps and Gorton for being friendly to me in spite of the player I am and the way in which I reacted to the way in which this community treats new folks.

Oh, it was also the insults and the constant harassment of players.
Actually, mostly that.

Don't say that the "community" is not welcoming (and giving lessons in the forums) when you spend half your games insulting everyone.

Such behavior are not very welcoming, and as you've said, should be banned...
That would have not been a problem if you weren't warn of not doing that again (just after that game, but many times before too), and still did it gain the following game.

You can now see that we are doing it already

I have talked to Hoff for quite some time in pm chat. Tried to understand him and also tried to make him understand why some of his actions may not be very welcomed by others. Unfortunately, after he lost a game against me (air vs air on Seton's), he forgot his manners again and tried to put me down, ultimately insulted me for no reason.
Some people try to feel better by putting others down. Hoff, I sincerely can say I gave you a chance. You blew it with joy. I am not sad you leave. FAF deserves better.

maybe it will be off topic but.... screenshots from game are great arguments, but you can save your (or Zep's) time and use replay parser to extract chat from replays

to The_Hoff: just stop playing Gap of Rohan and similar maps, maybe try 1v1? even australian will not lag in 1v1, there are no air player to rage about in 1v1, there are no noobs that does not know how to eject guy who they lost connect to, no ally that taking your mexes, or reclaiming your forest...

i do not like team games myself, i could continue list of disadvantages... there are just not team game, if you do not have team, or maybe even need good team, or at least you need to know what is your ally is capable
