Best tool for casting?

Hiya, can anyone recommend the best (free) software for casting? I need 1080p on youtube.

Hey Aulex, thanks heaps for taking the time to reply.

I actually want to record (not stream) my entire desktop (not just the game)

dxtory only captures FA ... does anyone know of a tool that I could use to record my usage of (lets say) excel?

xsplit, ffsplit, fraps, all work well

You would not believe how long it took me to work out why I couldn't get youtube showing HD video. It was because my screen was 1650x1080 because of my monitors stupid aspect ratio.

I looked at all of those tools and like ffsplit the best myself. Thank you Aulex
