New player from pa

Hello I'm a new player from the game planetary annihilation. Some guys on that forum were saying this game is great so Id thought I try it for the 5 bucks cost on amazon. Well my very first game vs a very stupid player names messydude007. I tell him I'm new and he goes lets play 1v1. I started playing a game of supcom with him then I'm getting the best of him in my very first game and all of a sudden I see messydude007 is cheating. I asked him what is that and he says cause Im cheating you A%^&^&%%^. Then tells me to go back to pa you D#$%$%$. I hope this is a good community that wants to except new players instead of running into guys like this. What a character he was. Are cheats prevalent in the game? If so I don't think I will be able to play this game long but it seems pretty fun.

Unless the cheats were enabled in the game (this was the case there it seems), there is no cheat in the game.

And don't worry, players like him are a minority here, welcome

Actually, that guy is so stupid that you can report it to the moderators in the chat they can slap him in the face a little

Most players on this game are friendly. Hope this won't turn you away from this game. It is great. Easy to learn hard to master. But mention at the start of a game that you are new. Most people tend to expect certain things from you when you are a bit more experienced.

Thanks for the quick reply. I love RTS and Im ranked 2 in the 2v2 ladder for pa. I was owning his base and he didn't even expand. Then I saw a huge experimental spider come onto the map from no where and the next thing I noticed is he warped his commander to my base then it disappeared. All I remember was that message saying he was cheating in white. Hope to see you guy in game.

If cheats are disabled in the lobby, you can't do that.

Welcome to FAF and too bad you had such a bad start. There are plenty of friendly people around and I myself havn't really encountered anyone who tried to cheat (play team games most of the time though). Anyway, hope you don't let that negative experience impress you too much. If you have questions about the game you can ask me in the lobby anytime.

Ive noticed that after a game I cant get out to menu. I try to click on the buttons on top to scroll down to options but it just disappears when I try to scroll over it. Any secrets to get to lobby after a game??

you can check replay for cheats enable/disable on online replay parser, you just need replay ID ( number in replay file name)

edit: however it always says wrong victory condition "demoralization"
and "omniCheat" is option for AI so do not worry about that
check "CheatsEnabled" option

After each game you click on the score button, which will take you through some postgame statistics then kill the program. To start a new game, you must launch again via the Find Games tab.

EDIT: I can't find the OP or the guy he mentions in the IRC records or the Replay vault... So I can't check for this game. If, indeed, it even happened...
