Need help PA vs FAF

Needed a bit of your help.
I need the wisdom to fight the Planet anhilation players in relation to wy PA has nothing to do with FAF, and FAF its bether in every possible and imagine ways .

You guy has every reason to call me the attention that I'm wasting my time commenting on those forums.

But I think its time have a little positive battle, to show them that we are alive and that we are better.
Not only have tactics and options completely different to every situation, quality and style that PA just dont have its a wast game .
They think exactly the opposite.

Only Ze pilot has show with all the quality some very important questions.

ZaphodX and Cola Colin have pass to their side.

But I have been bombarded with all kinds of comments that we do not have the right quality to even talk about the amazing game Planet anhilation is.

Believe that like to see the top players here and others but with the necessary wisdom of this game, that I do not have to show them what kind players we are and wy this community dont belive in PA has sucessor off TA SCFA .

I think it will be a good publicity to ower community and we will show them that we are here to stay and want a Supreeme commander 3 or Forged Aliance 2.

Just assign on pa foruns and lets have a nice friendly fight:)

I just dont accept that new players there think are bether then us that play since TA its a loooong road in ower lifes.

FA version of FAF is just FA with better balance and less bugs and i doubt that FAF version of FA is better than PA in every way

concept of round maps, orbital layer, multiple planets, and teleports is very very interesting, even if round maps are unusual and hard to navigate, and same with orbital stuff and even if all this shit is not really done yet it is still pretty interesting.

i think you can't really compare those games, i can only say that my PC can't handle PA and even can't handle FA sometimes, but even if i would handle it, i think it would still be much more enjoyable to play FA cause it has complete UI and prettyer graphix and easyer control of units, last time i played PA, i had UI appearence delay, and delay was bigger as longer game goes on :( .....

What they really think is: "oh my gosh, please not another thread from kalherine or pilot telling them that everything Uber does is wrong". PA is not Supcom3, and that's something we all just have to accept as a fact. Both of you behave like FAF-fan trolls in the PA-forum - it's really no surprise that nobody listens to you.

The sad thing is: I agree on many concerns you and pilot have. PA has a lot of potential, but I'm not certain if Uber is capable of fixing the many issues (bad lobby, input lag, UI, balance, ...) that prevent PA from being a game as great as FA.

My problem with PA is that is is just a bunch of icons jizzing on other icons. It does not really give the feeling of warfare.

The debate is really pointless. First thing is that you have too many people there who are judging FA based on playing SupCom Vanilla only and not its evolved and further refined edition in FAF.

Second point, the people that are making PA are the ones who made FA. The only difference is the level of funding. SupCom / FA had deeper pockets so we received graphics, engine, single player story, factions, and all the other goodies an RTS needed to compete back in 2007.

PA is on a seriously limited budget so do not expect glitz and glam. Maybe in the future, but that will need funding.

SupCom FA: Furnished mansion on big property by the water with a pool and everything. Turn the key on the front door and enjoy, but there are issues. Any repairs and modifications if you feel are needed are on your own with the more extensive ones close to impossible to complete.

PA: Barren land with foundation poured, access to unlimited building materials, and utility hookups nearby. Get your work gloves, it will be alot of Do-It-Yourself, but the guys who did the foundation are standing by. We have walked the property and began dreaming the possibilities.

PA is a great experiment. There is an experienced and vetted development team who are making a game funded by us, with input from us, and a promise that we can mod it extensively. All the rules about the business of making a game are in the air and unfortunately they need to work in the existing marketplace so they are bound to trip up at times. Also this is a time when RTS games are not that plentiful, especially when we compare it with the quality and offerings from FA, a game that is 7 years old that has evolved and been repaired over that time. PA will mostly follow suit, it will just not have the start that the well funded SupCom / FA games had in terms of appearance. At this point in time, in my opinion, PA is our only hope of making a truly awesome RTS, FA 2 :D

All you can achieve by doing that is giving FAF a bad reputation.
