Do we really want a SupCom 3 after the disaster of SupCom 2? With Square still owning the IP, I rather doubt they'll be willing to return to the TA/Vanilla SupCom roots and make the game that SupCom 2 should have been.

Well Chris Taylor has admitted to f*** up sup com 2, and also with the large support to PA during the kickstarter they may be open for it.

I always find it very interesting how attached people are to brands & series. Comments like, "It's a good game, but it shouldnt be called [game series] 2." etc.

Personally, I don't trust Chris Taylor / GPG to do another SupCom / TA game, even if they wanted to. They've shown over and over that the things that are important to them, are not the same as the things that are important to me.

Instead, I want a new team of people, in a different company, inspired by TA/SupCom, to make an awesome TA/SupCom-style RTS, but with a good competitive focus, polished UI (like, keyrebinding?!?!), regular systematic balancing, open mod tools, etc.

I'd be much more excited for something like that, than SupCom 3 / TA 2 / PA. I dont care about the lore or the brand, I just want a better game.

eg. Path of Exile vs. Diablo 3.
