Why nerf?

Sure you can rush it... but the missile is easy enough to dodge... its not cost effective against t2 mex and a couple of tmd will defend against it so if you go t2 on your com all that the com TML will do it put your enemy behind... sure you can rush it in team games and if you catch your opponents by surprise it can be effective but overall its normally a bad thing to build...

It might not be cost effective, but effectively shutting down a whole base (in 20 seconds) with a T3 missile ACU makes you win regardless of the costeffectiveness.

TMD... TMD... TMD... the defense is far more effective than the offense...

A spider in your base will shut down the whole base... better nerf that too... I guess a lab could take out a base if you didn't defend against it... time for a nerf?

TMD is not far more effective vs a super mobile ACU, though. And the missiles fly really high, so you probably need to cover lots of your base and expansions with TMD. As UEF you really need to build lots of TMD. I'm not saying the ACU missile is overpowered (probably not: high risk, high reward), but it's definitely not as easy as you think it is.

Replay 24.4.14 0:03Am GMT+1 crazed chariot. Thats what i told several times when this discussion came up. In normal games like 1v1 or small teamgames it is fine. On seton it can lead to insane abuse. This acu tml can kill a whole base if not prepared within 1 min. Not the most expensive XP unit can do this. No arti for 70k mass not even a mavor for 220k mass could do this so fast and effective. Acu tml with engi upgrades costs 720mass + 2k mass + 1k mass thats nearly for free compared to the effect. You already cannot kill a t3 engi acu so easy it can spam sams and towers like crazy. Why it needs to have ultra tml on the back.

There should be a fix that tml rockets built time is adapted to engi suit. Engi suit upgrade can speed up the built time of rockets a bit but not down to 1 or 2s. maybe another fix could be since it is anyways mobile and extremely effective to increase built costs for tml rockets sinigicant in energy and mass.

It's not OP. Building TML with T3 ACU at full speed totally nukes your Economy. Once at the stage where you have the resources to support that, the Enemy should have tonnes of Shielding and TMD.
