Sera Shields

They're basically impossible to break with arty. I don't mind this if this wasn't the opposite for every other faction.

I can wrap a duke with t4 pgens and never break them. Meanwhile, an unwrapped hovathum has no issue at all breaking my shields (be them UEF T3 or fully upgraded Cybran).

In a longer game, the additional power draw of the sera shields is irrelevant given they have advanced RAS and you're never short of power. It seems a little hard to counter to me...

That's rather nonsense.

Seraphim doesn't have RAS on SCU's; advanced RAS on ACU late game is just a drop in the bucket compared to total energy production, especially when you're air.

The sera arty has a bit more AoE, so it might hit more shields at the same time. Sera shields have the biggest shield health. But w/o micro; they still die due to T3 arty. But with sera it's easier to build a new T2 shield every 30 seconds to absorb all the damage than with any other faction.

But yeah; T3 arty in general kinda very easily goes trough shields

How many shields are you talking about, and with what kind of micro? I played a game the other day where a Mavor obliterated my Seraphim base that was under five or six T3 shields and a T2 shield in a little over a minute. But that's a lot more DPS, so I'm curious what kind of setup you were facing. (I personally have never run into the situation you're describing, T3 arty has always been a shield-breaker for me.)

Also, how did you support your Duke? If you could build a T3 arty you could have built a Novax or some strats too, how did you try to weaken the shields?

what's your point then? Sera shields late better than UEF shiels? yep, next question pls

Its the faction diversity. I'm sure they get frustrated when a cybran moves about the map undetected by radar too. Or when one aeon TMD stops 3 Crybran TML. Its all part of the faction diversity. There are ways to break them, and T3 Arty are for sure the way to do it. If I'm wrong, please send in a replay.

I think thats his point. The energy production is so high late game that the cost to maintain the shields is close to nill. Not that I think it should be increased.

Yeah, but it's not that Advanced RAS makes a difference at that point. In that stage of the game I usually get rid of RAS on ACU to get personal shield / nano-repair / stealth anyway to make snipes much more harder for the other team.
