Scouts bugged?

Hi,

is it possible that the scout is bugged? I have always felt like there is something wrong with it. Now I realised what's bugging me. Scouts scout best once they have being destroyed which is pretty weird. Have a look at the attached images and you'll understand what I mean.

I had a firebase mid and pulled my engies back a bit so that he couldn't spot my fb - I made sure that my aa would kill the scouts before they could see my t4. All in vein. The enemy did not only get to see that there are units (grey icons) but he even got to know what kind of units there were exactly. This rendered my stealth gen pretty much useless. :(

I just watched the replay from pinks perspective (ID: 2044150) at around 13+ min (he constantly sends a scout). Eventhough the scout gets shot pink gets to see all buildings and all units for a second which lie in front of him - espite a stealth generator being there! This can't be right.

scout wreckage gives intel while flyes, i think it is so for all faction except sera, sera scout gives view of place where it died for 20 sec

Is this on purpose? How can a wreck give intel? o.0 Even a Black Box of real life planes give intel only after being found and analysed.
EDIT: Oh, I see the logic behind it: the plane turns into a wreck when exploding on the ground I guess. So, till crash, intel works just fine? Hm, can't say I like that for logical and game-related reason (weakens the idea behind a stealth gen).

That doesnt make any sense or are there also gunships that keep shooting until they hit the ground? The main issue is that it breaks the idea of stealth. No matter how much aa and stealth you have. It simply means that all firebases are ALWAYS scoutable to 100%.

Yes, shoot 'm down earlier.

But at 13 minutes... no amount of T2 and T1 AA is gonna stop a T3 Spy plane flying over. Then everything will be spotted, including cloaked units in the Spy plane's omni radisu.

Stealth gens only really work to locally deny the enemy the ease of radar.

Oooooh, sure, next time I'll build my aa right in the base of my enemy. Right next to his air fac. Did you even have a look at the pictures? o.0 Maybe get more air I hear you say? How is that possible when his base with aa is right in front of me?
Next argument: build fatty further behind your front base. Yes! Forget shielding and pd and aa. Just go back in the woods to build it and have it a nice road trip to the front later on.
Ya, and since the t3 (!) spy plane will spot, why not have the t1 (!) scout be kinda broken and spot things beyond it being shot.
Not to appear rude, but, uhm, logic? Hello? Anyone around? Those are different things u mention here and they imho do not explain nor justify the scouts behavior after being shot down.

I think this is a legitimate concern which just hasn't come to light before because bigger fish were around to be fried. Would it be SO bad if Scout planes (T1 and T3) had no crash wreck and just totally exploded in mid air? They are small and delicate, and the loss of Reclaim mass is negligible really. This can be done fairly simply.

Well at early phase it's almost impossible to stop scout so it's a negligible problem there, and on this specific game I see asf flying around that could easily stop it firebase with aa or not, and since it's at t3 air phase doesn't make much difference regardless. Fixing it also wouldn't make much difference since he could just fly around instead :o

See it as a free feature of scouts :P

A plane that's shot in such a way that it can't fly anymore might still be able to transmit data. I don't have a problem with that. But where did it actually crash? Did it glide for enough to get that fatty in radar range? :o
