Removing GW button

Postby -_V_- » 03 Apr 2014, 14:56

Hi.
Is there a way to remove/hide/disable the GW button from FAF client ?

I tend to missclick on it so often its annoying. It take a long time to load, and often when i close the popup, the audio continues to play in the background, and the only solution is to restart FAf -_-

moving it to the end of the line is trivial by making a theme (in my themes i reordered some of the tab bar), i can make one that does it if you wish

ok, sec I'll move it and upload a theme with it at the back, but you're gonna have to use my theme >: D unless you take it apart and remove everything else D:

Thx for that.

I tried to look into the client.ui file to hide the button, but failed so far.

If I remove the QWidget section, FAF is not happy cause it can't find it at initialization.

I tried to play with the properties of the QWidget like the example below. Note that I tried with the geometry, with the visibility status too.EAch failed so far.

<widget class="QWidget" name="galacticwarTab">
<property name="enabled">
<bool>true</bool>
</property>

Changing the visibility property to hidden in the CSS for the GW tab doesn't help either.

Interim solution. Load galactic war when you start faf and you dont get the popups for updating whenever you accidentally click on it
