Setting up Hotbuild

Postby Haxord » 06 Mar 2014, 21:11

Hello,

Here's my current issue. After the latest patch I learnt that hotbuild and GAZ_UI is enabled by default. With the mods still enabled I accessed the F1 menu and attempted to reset the keys. It got stuck on the screen to select a german or US keyboard and I had to Alt+F4 the game. Since then I am stuck on the default keys.

After disabling the mods I see that hotbuild still appears under the F1 menu, however all the key bindings has to be set manually. Any help on how I can set up the keybindings automatically? Or if it has to be manual can I get a screenshot of how it should be as I have gotten very used to my old bindings but cant get it configured exactly as it was.

Wrong forum. Need to post in tech support

Edit: http://scst.myvowclan.de/hotbuild/mod-layout.png I think thats what you were after, And maybe doesn't need to be in tech support cause you resolved the crash, I'm not sure anymore. Either way just set them manually.

Thanks, I have tried to post in the tech support thread (after reading all the links at the top), however it wont let me. Can a mod move it?

I suppose I could set it up manually, but there must be a more elegant solution? It could be done with the original mod. Alternatively I noticed the file 'defaultKeyMap_en.lua' in the original Zulan Hotbuild folder. It seems to have all the keymappings I want. I know this is a bit of a technical question, but how can I make use of that file and apply it as a keymapping?

It takes about 1 minute to map it to default zulans, and if you read it all you would have seen the section saying you have to do something in the user control panel

You have to apply for the tech-support group. Once that is done you can post!
