UI Questions

1. Is it possible to rebind build mode keys? e.g. bind land fac to Q.

(I do have GAZ UI but I dont think it does this)

If I have any more I'll add them to this thread.

This is a link to zulan's hotbuild. It allows you to bind any build key to anything you want, but it's defaults are VERY good, arguably the best.

i like gaz ui mod, but theres one problem. when i select an ACU and SCUs, this 'circle' is always visible, even when the strategic overlay options is always turned off. explain to me what's going on?

Thanks for linking this mod, It looks and feels really slick, but I think it broke gaz ui's "middle mouse build temple rotate" function. Did you have this problem?

I can't seem to figure out how to rebind this.

EDIT: when selecting templates through the GUI, the build template rotate function functions normally. Frustrating.

Its an option, i vaguely recall its called selected unit info or something. You should be able to turn it off in the menu where all the gazui modules are.

Back up your game.prefs to another location, then delete it. the game will generate a fresh one with default settings, and hopefully that will bring the thing back. You can then remake all your settings, or alternatively try to merge your backed up game.prefs to the new one. Thats a bit advanced tho.

Didn't work. Maybe Funkoff knows how to get around this?

Oh wait, i just read a bit more carefully. You're saying the hotbuild mod broke gaz_ui. I thought you said you accidentally broke it somehow.

In that case its a mod incompat, so i have no idea. I never used hotbuild.
