Patch screwed with everythig

So the recnet patch comeplety screwed my FA, and I am sure not only with mine. I talked to TA4Life who's agme is broken too apparently. The explanation on how to get things working correctly in the What's new section are insufficient to say the least. After I have deleted GAZ UI and hotbild from the mod folder and my game.prefs (This alone - needing to delete your game.prefs without the possibility to reuse your old file... !) I don't even have GAZ UI ingame. No options in the settingss, nothing. Also hotbuild. It's not there. What is this? Somebody plase explain how to fix this mess.

No idea where you read that you have to delete your prefs files in what's new. That's probably what screwed everything.

I'm pretty sure it's not written in it, so I really don't get why you are saying "This alone".

Actually, the patch is done in a way that any gazui mod is disabled automatically to not mess with the update, and keeping hotbuild is perfectly safe.
So I don't really get where you had the idea that you should have mess with everything.

Either way, tech forum or I can't help you.

No, I deleted the game.prefs because everyhing was not working beforehand. And Voodoo so told people who had issues in the main chat. I did not put thsi in the tech section becuase I know I am not the only oen with these issues. After all, deleting the game.pefs fixed the issues partly. The game works again, but the GAZ UI and hotbuild are still not there. Apart from that deleting the game prefs and so having to redo all your customization is not a real solution

Well you are the only one I know of, and only because you are posting now.
As you can see, every issue that was reported in the tech forum are fixed, so it's bug free until proven otherwise.

No idea what you are meaning with "hotbuild and gazui are not there".

They are integrated, they are not supposed to be there anymore.

Hitting F1 does not give you an extended keybinder with Hotbuild options about 3/4 of the way down?

Hotbuild : You need to bind the keys with the keybinding (F1). They are in hotbuilding & hotbuilding extra section.

GazUI : You need to enable the options you want in the option menu. All are disabled by default.
If you have kept your prefs file, that wouldn't be necessary to re-enable them by the way.

Look, when I kept my prefs file the game was completely fucked. Now it is only half fucked. See, I do not have GAZ UI options in my settings. Not there. And biding the hotbuild keys manually was not necessary before. Why should it be now? Pressing G and all the other hotbuild keys does nothing.

I should add that if that "prefs all fucked" issue was reported properly in tech forum, I could have solved it in the hour, and you wouldn't have lost anything.
