After starting a match via FAF with all AI's i'm unable to open the log window (F9) to check for errors. Anyone know the fix for this?

No, it works without cheating.

You can't open it from the in-game lobby. But once the game is launched, you shouldn't have any problem.
Also, the game has to run in windowed mode (or it will appears behind the game).

If you have any problem, it's probably a game.prefs problem, I'm sure someone will give you the solution (probably related to the alt-f2 issue).

Here is how to check if the hotkey is actually binded.

I guess typing "debug_open_lua_debugger" in the console should open it too.

Far as I can tell I don't have a game.prefs file... Not like the pathing that was listed is even remotely close, guess it must be for an older version of windows that he was posting about.

Edit... Found something like this in a hidden directory. though most of the data within it is similar it's apparent that the game.pref everyone linked is for SC and not FA.

No, the path is for windows 7, and you should have one at that place.

If not, it's probably part of your problems.

Then you should have a game.prefs file here :
c:\Users\Ze PilOt\AppData\Local\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\

(of course, replace Ze PilOt by your computer user name).
