Map Vault - new map version?

I uploaded a new map 'the meteor' but made a mistake as there is no preview map image in lobby (so ppl join and leave lobby).

I want to upload a fixed version of this map but the map vault just says 'This map already exists in the vault'. How can I upload this as version 2?

Actually it seems from this post (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3503#p36585) that the lobby can't display preview maps if the map uses custom textures. Please fix this because people simply leave the lobby and assume it's a broken map...

The other question about how to upload updated versions of a map still stands?

If you want to use the official versions you would have to add "mapversion = 2" parameter to scenario file and rename folder to have ".v0002" or other numbers for whatever version you have.
Not sure if it works if it was not done in v1.

Personally, I think that just adding "v2" to map name looks better, that way people in lobby see that map was changed, not only in the vault, and it requires lot less work.

And we really need some way to delete our old map versions from the vault, there is so many of them...
(or just hide them so people could still download them if someone hosts old map but they could not download it manually from the vault)

If you change the map name, you have to change the mapname in the textfiles included with your map as well.
Search for your map name, and replace it with the new name.

I've made a map as well whitout it showing a map preview in the lobby. But it came after waiting for a while.
