I've been trying to solo Dawn with Cybran, but I keep getting massacred early on. Any tips?

Artillery will murder your ACU at the start of Dawn if you stand still or walk in straight lines. Maneuver your ACU and you will dodge most of the shots.

Things become hilariously amusing when the Wailers come rolling 'round.

If you think its crazy now try it with 4. An ACU dies in about 12 seconds

On solo leave the allied AI as cannon fodder (it's useless in any case and takes up mass-points). Start building a factory and grab the mex, you will have enough time to get some power also before you are forced on the offensive. Upgrade to T2 ASAP and start spamming anti air.

Obviously you need to kill the first onslaught. After that, retreat behind the loyalist base and use it as cannon fodder. Get a Factory, some Power, Power Storage, grab the Mex, and get Engies out and reclaiming. Don't bother with tanks, they'll get overrun. Use your ACU with Overcharge as your weapon while you get a T2 Factory ASAP. Get a T2 Engie to immediately build a Shield, and then spam Flack. The rest is up to you.

Just remember this: Against the wave-type AI in the campaign, your absolute best and most essential weapon is Shielding. You can't win without it.

Start with ACU micro. Dodge artillery shots.

When building your base. Spam engies. Spam Power and reclaim. Get the gun upgrade on your ACU, and energy storage. The basic tactic will be Tech rush on ground. T2 defences will hold nicely. Push forward to the northern choke point and build defences. Reclaim and cap the mexes behind you.

After you have rescued the loyalists the Green Aeon will change sides. So it makes sense to limit collateral damage. Use a teleporting ACU, or SCU, to capture the loyalist prison. leaving the Aeon base intact.

For the final objective build 3 Flying Experiementals with ASF cover. Then take out QAI ACU. Mission Complete.
