Why the hell are t3 gunships in general buffed to the point were you don't need asf's?? i just watched 6 of my asf's get completely destroyed by 6 t3 aeon gunships? i thought they were ment to be anti air?? because as it stands you don't need asf's at all just make a t3 gunship blob.. can someone tell me who's idea it was to buff gunships AA capabiltys?? they need to be restored to retail release specs.. is it just me or is this the norm?? i played this game for so long before i started playing online a few days ago and so many units are so different now its unreal

One, this isnt a balance forum.

Two: Mass for mass asf's counter resto's.

Three: The T3 gunships aa has been nerfed, not buffed, they DID used to be ridiculously OP (from what I hear)

Honestly this discussion has been repeated so many times its not even funny anymore, if your interested in balance, join a balance team or create your own.

BS.. asf's used to counter anything in the air.. gunships.. t4 units the lot now they are replaced by gunships because i lost asf's so many times to gunships now.. so they have been buffed MASSIVELY they never used to be this good so why have they been buffed i seriously want to know the answer to this because some muppet thought it was a good idea to buff a air unit that even a specialized air unit like the asf's is now obsolete.. im just making t3 gunships for my anti air roles and it is so much easier to win now they need a nerf badly..

They have been nerfed, not buffed from 3599, and are mass for mass countered by asf's


If they need another slight nerf is a debated topic, but please don't spread misinformation.

I'm pretty sure the stat changes will be in the change log if you want to have a look for yourself, I honestly can't remember them off the top of my head.

You are obviously new to FAF so I will leave this up and lock it so you and others have the answer to this ;)

#1. Before you post search the forum for common threads. The balance of the restorer has posts into the hundreds on probably a dozen threads and it has been nerfed very hard compared to what it used to be.

#2. There are a ton of people willing to help around here, but they can't help and inform you if you just decide to call BS on whatever they say.

#3. To actually address what you asked.... One restorer costs the same as three ASF. If you send three ASF to kill a restorer they will win, hands down, 100% of the time. Therefore, the restorer is not OP and is completely countered by ASF, so the air superiority fighter DOES maintain air superiority :D
Additionally, the restorer is an AA gunship, specifically designed to defend itself against air, and has laughable DPS to ground. The other gunships will die to a single ASF as they have high ground damage and pitiful AA.

TL;DR, listen more and rage less.
