What is the focus of the next balance patch?

I know the balance team is restricted to making changes specifically related to the stated 'focus' of the patch, and perhaps I'm just being an idiot, but I couldn't find it anywhere: What is the focus of the next balance patch?

No, there is no focus. I've read the news to be sure, but no, no reference to any focus. The focus is to balance the game

Hmm... What I meant was how, for example, the last balance patch focused on Aeon T2, primarily land. There were a few other random items (and engymod implementation, obviously), but people who threw in ideas about anything they could think of were directed to confine themselves to the focus of the patch.

I thought this was a wonderful way of doing things, because it is hard enough to balance things well, and even harder when changes are being made all across the game, all at once. You yourself said that you would have the patches be more focused because the last time the balance patch had no limits it was too chaotic. I was hoping this patch would be similarly controlled.

So the balance team that ends up getting selected will be free to make any changes they want to anything at all? That just seems...

If you reread the news, Zep says that the balance team will only be able to make the changes they proposed in the balance team thread.

Well yes, but if they can propose any changes they want in the first place, that doesn't really mean much.

With things like this or that being talked about, as well as more nonsense like this sure to pop up, I was hoping for some clearly defined objectives for the team to focus on.

But I suppose it will be fine, I'll just wait and see what the balance team decides they'll work on, and throw in my two cents.
