Billy UEF ACU Nuke

I think the billy might need a bit of tweaking. It is a bit overpowered seeing that it isn't countered by SMD. It can be mass produced quite easily, and you only need 1 of them in your opponent's base to win. For example, on roanoke, I usually wouldn't expect something like a billy nuke, ever. It's really useful as a counter to armies, but, it would be nice if SMDs could counter at least 1 of them every 15 seconds without using anti nukes (would be too expensive, and too exploitable, as spamming would just drain all that mass). Perhaps something along the lines of that?

Why would you want it to be countered by SMD anyway? If you make a few TMD, the problem is solved. Also, shields easily counter the billy. In my opinion, there is no way it is OP.

The billy is a "tactical nuke" not a "strategic nuke" and therefore you use "tactical missile defense (t2 tmd)" and not "strategic missile defense" to stop it. The billy is actually VERY easily countered by either 3-4 tmd or a single aeon tmd. It is an expensive upgrade, one that really only does major damage once against a good player, and one that is pretty easily defended against with navy cruisers or tmd.

This weapon needs no tweaks.

You can shoot the billy missle down with tactical missle defence. I think it has more hp than a normal tac missle so you might need more than one tmd to stop it.

The billy is for sure not overpowered. :lol:
You need 4 shots from a TMD, so 2 TMD will be enough if it doesnt go to the very outer range of the TMD.

The billy nuke could use a new (unique) explosion animation, though.

Yeah, isn't the explossion a bit too big for the damage it does?

The billy was recently nerfed - if you think it's OP now then you should have played before. That being said, it's never been that useful and has never (imo) been OP. You can pretty easily detect when an enemy ACU has it (due to the backpack) and 2 TMD will kill it. Considering its cost, I think it's only good for a surprise here or there or just to "rub it in".
