Highlight Game Settings deviating from Standard

So, I know that it says "game is not ranked" in the lobby when settings deviate from the standard, but I think it would be great to individually highlight settings that do not have their standard value. This way there would be no more surprise NR, pre-built, Supremacy etc... as it is very hard to check the settings and not miss one of those things from time to time.

I am sorry, if this has been suggested already - did not find anything though.

As host, a simple click on "default settings" will fix everything.

This is not my point... I mean when you join a lobby. When I am host I do know anyway what settings I have.

Well if it's unranked, the lobby state it clearly. (green ranked or red unranked on top of the option list).

Then you can just tell the host to click "default settings".

You are not getting my point... I don't know how to eplain it to you differently though...


Edit: oh well... When I deliberatly join a unranked game, I want all the settings that are not on their standard value to be highlighted, so I can easily tell, which settings are changed from the default value.

Indeed I don't get your point. You can immediately see if it's ranked or not. Then a quick look at the options to see what exactly is very fast.

Doing a function for that is too much work for something trivial to do manually.

But it is not trvial. That is why people often miss one of the settings and then are surprised by a non-standard setting. Like "Oh, this is NR?? wtf!" or "Why is the guy who's com I just killed not dead yet?? Oh, it's supremecay, well screw that!"

Well. Again, if you see "Unranked", check the list. If you see "Ranked", all is alright (impossible that it's cheat on, no rush or whatever). Simple as that.

but it is not about recognizing wheter it is ranked or not, but what settings are changed from default in an unranked game.


There are like 20 settings, poorly readable. And when you scan them you will most likely always miss one.

There are like 5 settings that can really affect ranked, and they are grouped together in the interface.
