quiters in game!!!

What is to be done about quiters in game???

i had a number of games with a player called pontuis taht disconnects because he refuces to losspoints or does not want to loss what ever teh reason is.

Latest game with me he had 3 t2 aeon tanks past him and he just lefted disconnected leavin the whole team in a nightmare of a game.

he had 9 uef t2 gunships that could easly kill them so he quit.

And this is not the only time this has happened either.

Pontius and goldberg both are quitters in some occasions. There are probably even more out there.

Yeah pontius only plays for points and only plays with teams stacked in his favour. He will disconnect when he is losing done it to me few times.

There is really an easy fix, dont play with him. After he cant get a game 1 of 2 things will happen. He will change his way or not play. While its a shame when we loose a player, the community as a whole may be better for it. Points, while not the be all and end all of importance it does have a place to help balance teams in the lobby. The fact that he is skewing this in his favour means that he will appear to be a better player than he is. Mebbie zep could count a disconnect in a game as double points lost perhaps. This will stop this and persade players to make sure their connection is stable, win win for the community. Weather Zep has time to do this is doubtfull, he has a vast number of other things that he is improving atm. But with zep, you never know....

Zep So many people don't get that, They only see the points posted in chat after the game and think that is somehow going towards rating! because if you ctrl-k you get 0 there instead of -1 for getting killed, they don't realize the surest way to lose rating is by letting your team lose, Its a case of Stupidity.
