Freezing for no reason

I have a problem that occurs maybe once out of every twenty games, but when you are 45 minutes into a game and your screen freezes, it sucks for you and your team. I still have audio, but the game just stops. Is there any known reason or resolution for this? I have a super fast PC and 1k dollar video card, so I know its not because I have a slow piece of shit.
