download the client from github. it's the compiled version and it contains the ICE adapter too.

we cannot help you with java build errors, why the ICE adapter doesn't compile and stuff. btw they have a video on github about how you can compile the project.

Nah, I'm a dev (though not a Java dev) and figured it out (but yes, downloading the ICE adapter jar makes sense). It all works now, thanks, so see you in game!

The only issues I seem to have now are:

- background of news and chat pages is white, which makes text (light grey) very hard to read (could be incompatibility with the version of JavaFX I'm using; lots of errors in the log regarding XML and CSS)
- warnings that mods are corrupt and cannot be loaded — seems to happen for all mods, UI mods included
- bireus errors — I know these are harmless; any way to just disable this since it never works?

what graphic card do you have and what driver have you installed (if none specify that) also which specific distribution of linux and version are you running?

RX570, Fedora 30, and yes, the open source drivers: "AMD RADV POLARIS10 (LLVM 8.0.0)".

Seems to work fine now. The only remaining issue I have is that mods don't work (so no Supreme Scoreboard in replays).

i have RX560 (the same GPU family and drivers) and everything works (only some effects missing).

opensource amd driver is the best, don't change it.
