Hello. I try install FAF in Ubuntu 19.10. I follow the instructions in wiki.faforever
There is the problem: after completing this
export INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME=~/Games/javaFafClient/jdk-10.0.2
and this
./downlords-faf-client
I see:

No suitable Java Virtual Machine could be found on your system.
The version of the JVM must be 10.
Please define INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME to point to a suitable JVM

Before that I tried to apply jdk-13

Earlier I installed Clion, maybe some other JVM was installed

And one more question:
Earlier in the instructions there is a line:
sudo chmod +x ./lib/faf-uid
but there is no such file, I wrote:
sudo chmod +x ./natives/faf-uid
Is it right?

And VLC when trying to open BluRay write:

This Blu-ray Disc requires Java to support the menu. Java could not be found on your system

Yes it's in the natives folder on later versions of the client

did you download openJDK 10 as the instruction says? and where did you extract it?
same question goes to the Java FAF client. where did you extract it?

but there is no such file, I wrote:
sudo chmod +x ./natives/faf-uid

you are getting this error because there is no such file in that directory. : p
there is a cd command in the wiki too before that. it goes to the directory where you extracted the FAF client (you might have different directories).
i have updated the wiki about the "natives" subdirectory.

it doesn't matter what kind of JDK is on your system btw. you need the JDK10 extracted to some directory. then you store that directory path in the INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME variable. then the FAF client will use that JDK.
does this directory exist for you? ~/Games/javaFafClient/jdk-10.0.2

I deleted the directories and downloaded again. FAF Client works

there's also this script that allows coop, ladder and featured mods to work : https://github.com/FAForever/faf-java-a ... -518974334

but you need to stop running that script when you want to play normal.
