so I got it working but steam launched on the smaller of my two screens.

I didn't think to move it over before installing FA and as a result FA is persuaded I only have the smaller of these two screens.

I know I can't dual screen FA in linux, but it would morally soothe me if I could at least fullscreen it.

Not linux related, but is there anyway of doing that on windows ? I sometime have the grey windows too with the game still functionning on background, like if the graphics were bugged or something.

If i hit windows+D while i am recording with FRAPS for example.

No i play windowed since dual+full screen made that happen like at every alt tab.

Now i play single display windowed (i have a second monitor tho) with a tool named GameCompanion to have it borderless perfect 1680*1050. Way less problems now.

BUT i still have this issue when i record with FRAPS if i hit windows+d (alt tab is ok). Game still running i can even chat (even if i dont see the chat window), only problem is i have grey screen and i'm sure there must be a way to reset graphics or smth ?

I know i had the problem the other day while trying to chat with enter and i mistyped on some key, maybe i hitted alt+enter or another "window size" shortcut that made the grey screen come. So if i record a lot of games i run into random bugs when i get unlucky ^^

that's what I mean, for sup com dual screen, alt tab is special, you gotta hold alt and hit tab twice. (you see a preview anyways showing you the two grey screens, and you gotta skip both to get back to the desktop, and select the main screen view to get back to the game)
