always wondered which one has more reclaim , a wall or a tree and how much mass does it contain?

there are many different trees, wall is 2 mass reclaiming 6 walls will give you ~10 mass
most of the trees will give you more, especially the groups of trees
reclaiming walls in order to gain mass is pretty pointless

Reclaiming your own structures will always yield less resources then was used in their contruction. To the tune of about 10% of unit mass value. Reclaimables are 90% of the initial unit value, but as for rocks and trees, I have no idea of the exact worth. Generally trees give mostly energy with a little mass. Rocks give mostly mass with a little energy (I think). Wreckage reclaims give only mass and no energy.

Sometimes i really wish to know how many resources are in a rock or wreckage. It would be cool to have this info, perhaps with a GUI mod? You would see before if mass overflows your storage so you can upgrade mexes and factories at the right time.

If your really curious, which don't you just play sandbox and reclaim some rocks, with no generation and empty storage.

Seriosly dude. Reclaiming wall sections and getting more resources back than were used to make them? You do know that you can reclaim your own wall sections right... Well you'd invent an entierly new stream of income. Basically FORCING players to micro the continuous building and reclaiming of wall sections... I wish people would think before they post this kind of rubbish. :roll:

Do you want to play every map in sandbox and memorize every rock and every wreckage for each map? No? Me neither. Sure, I know on most maps the reclaim spots and can categorize the amount of mass. If it's too hard to implement a reclaim info, i accept this. But your sugesstion is just a bad workaround.

It would be also easier to identify maps which are unbalanced, because if you observe a map you can exactly see how the resources are distributed.
