New to Forum, Just subscribed via Paypal, question

I am an old SupCom player from back in the day. Haven't played in years, started watching Gyle's casts and has gotten me excited about the game but more importantly the community. I signed up to donate 5.00 Euros a month and wanted to know if I need to join a group or something to connect the Paypal to this forum account.

You have Galactic War access, and you can ask for the donator avatar to a moderator in chat.

I am having issues with trying to setup the lobby. I tried entering my Forum username and password and it would not take it. Then I tried making a new one with the Create an Account function using the same information and that didn't work. I eventually was able to choose a different login name "Atreides2001" with the same email(as my forum account) but it appears I do not have Galactic War access. It was like the usernames "DukeAtreides" or "Atreides" were already taken before I got to create my lobby account. And uninstalling the Lobby client does not remove my current account information, as it wont let me try to login in the "another" account.

I have tried using both my email and username "DukeAtreides" password recovery and the email sends me to my "new" account "Atreides2001" and the username gets me no email at all.

I dont mind using "Atreides2001" as my account since its letting me in and already tied to mumble(and I cant seem to figure out how to remove it). But I guess I would like some way to either migrate my alpha status or regain control of the account "DukeAtreides" (if its actually mine and not someone elses). I also still have the information given to me after my Paypal purchase so I can verify that.

Thanks for any help and sorry to be having so many issues right after coming to the community, I just want to get everything tied together to play

That's not really clear.

- FAF account and forum accounts are not tied in any way.
- FAF accounts are restricted to one per computer.
- You can rename your FAF account anytime you want.
- There is no mumble account.
- For GW, you need to fill the "FAF username" in your User Control Panel on the forum correctly. It has to match your FAF account.
