Some players of this game frustrate me.

Moronic Tactics tonight:

-Cybran T2 "Transport ACU kamikaze" (While enemies had omni & t3 fighters) (Rating of player: 500)

-Superturtles (Never produce any units, just PD and shields at spawn. Czar took this dude out) (300)

-Over extenders (You just got sniped kid, polar opposite of superturtles) (700)

Every ranked game I join has at least one person trying these tactics...

Went from 270 -> -46 tonight.

Are there any lobbies that offer UNRANKED help for newer players? I just feel that playing with players like this is tanking my rating. I admit that my first 10 or so games were crazy hard, and learning all of this new stuff isn't easy. (Been playing for 2 years found out about this project one month ago) But going into my 20th game or so, things are looking bleek. I understand how to make a good eco, and how to play different positions on most maps, but getting into a balanced game is hard as hell with such a small community.

Well, you heard the man- y'all gotta make the community bigger.

Until you get to around 1k, people will always do stupid things, don't take it so seriously. Few people become 'good' or even okay before 50 games.

if you want some basic training we have a personal trainer team. and also sheppard did some realy nice tutorials watch tem all and you reach 1000 rating in a few days.
And as Ato0theJ already said most ppl under 1000 rating dont know know to play and therfor they try things that are actually pretty easy to counter.

I really hate to say that now but:

If you play U1000 range you cant expect your mates to be awesome. >There is a 1v1 ladder if you dont like teamgame, dont see your rating as an highscore but as an indicator of how balanced games are. If you want help with learning the game look the help I#M new cection.

PS: 300 or -50 makes no real diferencce

Play ranked 1v1! I could never ever convey to you the importance of this! Not playing 1v1, is like trying to be a better player than Messi and Ronaldo without ever joining a professional football club.
Even there, you may meet inexperienced players, but once your rating is good enough, or play long enough(this will be much sooner than in team games), you will cry out loud from the beating that you ''ll get!
But beaten you should be, if you are to become better!

If you're skilled, your rating will go down very slowly, and go up very quickly (you'll probably peak to your current level within 10 games). I've seen people receive over 300 points in 1 game. Don't worry about losses so much, just play good.

Can also see if anyone is on mumble or teamspeak, less chance of dumb ideas going into practice, if you are communicating with your team about your plans.
I thought this was going to be a big whining thread, judging by the name of it. Can we start one?
