Most of the views that the casters get come from the subscribers or those people who already know about the channels. These are nice, but don't help FAF too much.
The views that are most beneficial to FAF come from people who know little of the game, and stumble upon one of the better Supcom FA videos (one of Gyle for example, not a noob playing AI)
These views come from related videos and youtube search. These things can be affected by a few dozen people, who follow the following strategy:
1. Identify a video that a potential Supcom FA player might be watching (example SC2, Top RTS, etc.)
2. Watch the video back to back with a video that you would like associate with the target video.(example, watch Gyle's Setons #5 after a day9tv funday monday)
For searches:
1. Identify a target search phrase and search youtube. (example, "best RTS ever")
2. Look through the search until you see quality videos from Supcom FA and click on them.
Repeat for best results. The effect of a single user spamming the same thing 100 times is not significant, but 100 different users doing it once would be huge.
Attached are some examples where getting a video related to PA videos brought new viewers.(light blue is another PA video)
As well as effect of getting videos listed higher in the search.
Please post any ideas you might have in regard to this. Perhaps also say how you found out about FAF, that might be used to get others.
