It is no mistery that Cybrans are recently having big success in ladder , so big that many many top players are or have just converted to dr. Brackmann's army.

It is really sad to look at ladder map stats and see like 40% cybran 40% uef and like 10% aeon and 10% seraphim usage.

Yes, UEF do have some usage percentage but with very lower winrate compared to the above mentioned Cybrans.

In the name of game variety I demand to give some love to the neglected races.

Of course It is not a big issue , yet we have a game with four races but seems like we tend to forget it.

I dont think there is an issue with uef or cybran. The top 2 active players play uef, and they do just fine.

I play both recently, and I find that each have their advantages. Small maps I prefer UEF, larger ones and I like cybran. Cybran has to constantly harass UEF, because in large pitched battles, UEF has the advantage.

I actually find sera just as good, but they are boring to play. With the changes in engymod, their t2 bot becomes easier to spam, but they will still be a boring faction. Their only real weakness is t3 tank, but this is not a huge issue for 1v1.

Aeon does suck, and will hopefully get some love next patch period.

I agree with your point of view, Crazed . Anyway I didn't want to raise up another race balance thread , honestly I feel I don't have the competence to judge race balance, rather remark that cybran are vastly overused in this moment and 70% of ladder matches have cybrans playing , and this is just boring.

Well I give you some idea about what could be done:

arty firing all direction while moving not like now
aurora "dodge" style ( check my mod ) that pip didn't want because he said it will be op in pro's hand Oo
change the blaze's physics to the aurora one with dps 20 from 15 pro bullet damage and 24 range from 23 ( check my mod )
obsidian hp and shield like before in 3599 but with range 30 from 20 and 2 damage radius ( check my mod )

You can test it. This is in my mod but even with this change this is hard but way more playable than before

3. I started using cybran because of the last patch, before that I just played UEF. I really like cybran now and will go on playing them. Maybe a few other player thought the same way....i guess it will change...give it some time
Aeon is a race for the pros because of micro and i just dont like sera....i cant even say why.

i think dstojs changes seem to be very good.
not UEF and Cybran should be changed because they are used too much, but aeon and seraphim because they're underused.
btw for me it seems like sera is used nearlya as much as cybran and uef

There is very little that you can do with Sera that you can't do with UEF, and many things you can do with UEF that you can't do with Sera. Sera have far too few units to be interesting, at least this is my reason for not playing as them. They don't have any special or signature units that are genuinely useful, and there's no way to change that.

IMO Aeon are uninteresting aesthetically, I don't like their rounded amorphousness, and the noises their guns make are gay and stupid. Add to that the micro requirement and I can't see myself ever playing Aeon either.

the sera dont really have few units.
on t3 all of their units are useful (even the sniperbot, not like the aeon one), expecially the t3 mobils shield is special.
on t2 they dont have that much but the ilshiver is a allround unit that is good against anything so they dont need much.
on t1 they have a very strong arty that is also usable against other tanks pretty well so there they also have a lot of diversity.
